Get adequate rest
Sleep reduces your stress levels, it’s how your body repairs itself. So, it’s crucial to get plenty of rest, as this will strengthen your immune system, making it easier for you to fight off tiredness, colds, viruses, and give your body an overall reset each night. Sleep is also more important as you get older, because it improves memory and focus. Be sure to sleep at least 7-9 hours per night. If you experience insomnia, speak to your doctor and find the cause of your poor sleep. Inactivity during the day and too much caffeine result in a medical condition, like sleep apnea.
