Brigitte Bardot
Brigitte Bardot was one of the most famous actresses and models of the 20th century. She was born in Paris in 1934 and died in Saint-Tropez in 2019. Bardot was an icon of the 1950s and 1960s, and was often referred to as the “sex kitten” of the era. She was married three times and had two children.
In her later years, Bardot became an animal rights activist. Bardot’s career began in 1952 when she was 18 years old. She appeared in a number of French films throughout the 1950s, including “And God Created Woman” in 1956. Bardot’s fame increased in the 1960s with her roles in European films like “Le Mépris” and “Viva Maria!”.
