Speaking about her experience in a new video, she’s revealed that following the mini stroke she had to have heart surgery to close a small hole in her heart. Doctors believe that the blood clot could have travelled to her brain through the hole, called a PFO, which was 12 and 13 millimeters. (A PFO is a hole in the heart that didn’t close the way it should after birth.) Hailey says that she had to see further doctors after she was released from hospital to be diagnosed with the PFO.
